Hi, I am Dr. Mary Gail Miesch, born and raised in Paris as a 6th generation Texan, I was thrilled to move back home to a welcoming medical community in 1995. I won't say being the first female Ob/Gyn surgeon in Paris, TX was easy but looking back I can say I was well prepared for the challenge. Having my three children in training, my wonderful husband David became a full-time stay-at-home-dad.
After retiring from Obstetrics in 2004, I concentrated on general gynecology, infertility, and female surgeries – hysterectomy, prolapse, and urinary incontinence. At the same time, my interest in providing a physician-oriented medical spa for the Paris area was born in 2003 – Village laser and Skin Care. It is one of my passions to help patients turn back the hands of time and find renewed confidence and empowerment.
As a patient, you will be welcomed with a friendly and caring attitude by the staff and myself. We will coordinate a healthcare plan for your individual needs and be responsive to your calls and concerns. Be reassured that I personally review and clear all labs, x-rays, sonograms, pap reports, and pharmacy requests. I pride myself in saying we are one of the few practices that when called, an actual person answers the phone.
The doctor-patient relationship is very special to me and mutual trust is critical to that bond. Just as you trust my surgical skills and medical judgment, I must trust you have honestly shared all of your concerns and medical history. Together we will create the best possible medical treatment plan for now and in the future.
